The Foundation of Dance

Ballet is the foundation of all dance training. It helps dancers develop grace, posture, strength, flexibility, balance, discipline, and proper technique that supports every style of dance.

Our ballet classes focus on classical ballet fundamentals, body alignment, musicality, coordination, terminology, and performance quality. Dancers will build confidence while learning the structure and discipline of ballet in a positive and encouraging environment.


Ballet I (Ages 5+)

Ballet I is designed for dancers ages 5 and up who are beginning or continuing their ballet training. This class focuses on developing a strong technical foundation through proper body alignment, basic ballet positions, barre exercises, center floor work, flexibility training, coordination, and musicality.

Students may work on:

  • Basic ballet positions and terminology
  • Barre exercises
  • Center floor combinations
  • Balance and coordination
  • Flexibility and strength development
  • Across-the-floor progressions
  • Musicality and performance skills

Ballet II (Invite Only)

Ballet II is an advanced-level class for dancers who have demonstrated the technique, discipline, and readiness for more challenging ballet training. Placement is by instructor invitation only.

Students may work on:

  • Advanced barre exercises
  • Complex center floor combinations
  • Turns and directional changes
  • Increased flexibility and strength training
  • Ballet terminology and artistry
  • Performance quality and expression
  • Technique refinement and skill progression

Dress Code

Students should wear proper ballet attire that allows instructors to evaluate technique, posture, and body alignment.

Acceptable Attire:

  • Leotard
  • Skirt
  • Tights
  • Full-sole pink ballet shoes with no drawstrings or laces

Hair should be secured neatly away from the face, preferably in a bun.
