Advancing Technique, Strength & Artistry
Pointe is an advanced ballet discipline that allows dancers to build upon their classical ballet training while developing the strength, control, balance, and technique necessary to dance safely and confidently en pointe.
Pointe work requires dedication, discipline, and a strong technical foundation. Dancers focus on proper alignment, foot and ankle strength, balance, posture, and artistry while continuing to refine their overall ballet technique.
Because pointe training places significant demands on the body, placement is determined by the instructor based on each dancer’s age, strength, technique, maturity, and readiness.
