When Brynn was 6, she saw a performance of The Nutcracker and aspired to dance en pointe one day. After that, her family found a new studio that had opened in Perry Georgia, A Step Above Dance Company, for her to take classes at. In 2013, Brynn started taking ballet and jazz classes. After a year of dance, she auditioned and joined the ASADC competition team for the 2015 competition season.

Brynn was a member of the Lyrical and Jazz teams with A Step Above Dance Company and competed in solos and duets. Throughout Brynn’s time on the competition team, she won several judge’s awards, scholarships, and invites to talent spotlights for her solos. Brynn’s first solo, Witch Doctor, received ASADC’s first EVER judge’s award for “Fierce Firecracker.” In 2016, she won ASADC’s first national championship for a petite duo/trio to the song Georgia Peaches. Brynn took ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, and acrobatics during her time with ASADC.

In 2019, Brynn took a step back from competitions to focus on her ballet training at Mechowla Dance Conservatory. During this time, she worked extremely hard on her technique.  In 2021, Brynn began taking advanced ballet classes at Dance Arts in Macon, Georgia. During this time she participated in several dance intensives with the studio. In 2021, she became a member of the Middle Georgia Youth Ballet. In MGYB she performed and participated in many intensives. Her favorite intensive being with Francis Veyette, co-founder of the Veyette Virtual Ballet School. When Dance Arts closed down, Brynn started taking ballet at the Jean Weaver Center. During this time, she also was cast in the Nutcracker of Middle Georgia for several years.

Brynn started as an assistant teacher for ASADC in 2021. She started helping with the recreational classes for community service hours for the Beta Club and National Honors Society. She also started taking ballet and pointe at ASADC. After being back at ASADC and finding her love for performing again, she decided to return to the ASADC 2023-24 competition team for her senior year of high school!

Outside of dance, Brynn graduated from Perry High School with a 4.0 and honors in the top 5% of the Perry High School 2024 class. She also takes college classes at Central Georgia Technical College. Brynn is currently attending college at GCSU (where she received a FULL SCHOLARSHIP), majoring in nursing, and minoring in dance. She wants to then further her education to become a nurse anesthetist.
